Thaïs Siqueira-Boddicker has a life long love for her Teddy Bear friends. Thaïs first discovered the magic of the Steiff Teddy Bear's world in 1969 when she got her first bear, Templeton. From there, the Teddy Bear family grew and their adventures did with them. In 2008 Thaïs decided to write her first Teddy Bear book to give others a precious look into their miniature world and the Teddy Bear Books were born!
Thaïs was born and raised in Lake Forest, Illinois, a quiet town next to the beautiful Lake Michigan. She grew up exploring the lake, canoeing down ravine streams, and imagining fantastical games and stories with her two brothers. She is the mother of two grown children and lives with her husband, cat, and dog in Lake Bluff, Illinois. Thaïs loves creating art, enjoying the local nature, visiting and hiking in national parks, and trying new plant-based foods.

The Teddy Bears are 2 inch tall vintage Steiff bears (and other animals, too!) Collected over the years since 1969, they have been on many adventures and have enjoyed living in various doll houses.
